Founded in 1898, DePaul University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Chicago (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Illinois. Officially accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, DePaul University (DPU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational US higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.
